On the Road to Baldwinsville, NY

Posted by

Show season has finally come to a wrap as the warm weather arrives. Just when we thought Ryan could catch his breath here comes tournament season! Advanced Fishing entered in the Ocracoke tournament and placed in the first two sessions,  but to our dismay ended up with some not so lucky spots in the last two sessions. Way to go Team Advanced Fishing! There's always next year!

Ocracoke isn't the only tournament that Ryan or Team Advanced Fishing has entered. He is off to Baldwinsville, NY to fish the Seneca River for the Wild Carp Classic tournament this week. There, teams will be targeting common and mirror carp for a fish off! This tournament is a Big 10 format, with cash and awards for the teams with the most combined weight of their ten largest carp caught.

Century Rods is also presenting a pre-tournament warm up on Thursday, May 12 from 8AM to 12PM at peg 49, located in Long Branch Park. Admission is $10 per 2 casts and every one is to cast with the Century spod rod for fairness. Longest cast of the day wins the demo rod.  All inquiries should be directed to Ryan White and Tony Stout.

Also, this weekend Saturday, May 14th at 10AM Century will be demoing rods at the Maritime parking lot on the Cape Cod Canal! Ryan will be show casing the new Command Distance, Noreaster, and Surf Machine!

Stay posted on where Century rods will be displayed or put to action. There's way more to come so stay posted and tight lines!
